Planner Addict Tag!

Happy Friday! TGIF right?!

Today I am sharing something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while, and by the name of the title you probably figured it out already. The infamous Planner Addict Tag! Although I wasn’t tagged personally to do this, I figure it would be a fun way for you guys to get to know more of my planner style. So, yea you can say I tagged myself! Lol :p

1. What planner are you currently using?wpid-img_20150207_201314.jpg

I’m currently using my Kikki K personal size (A5) planner in the color lilac. I got it back in February when Kikki K had their 50 percent off sale. It is my first “big girl” planner, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

What planner(s) have given you planner peace?

Being that the last planner I used was a regular academic planner from Target, moving into my Kikki K has been a huge step up for me. Of course I would like to try other planners in the future, but for now I am in planner peace.

Filofax, Midori or Erin Condren?

I haven’t used any of these personally, but I can say that I originally wanted an Erin Condren planner for the longest before deciding on Kikki K. It will probably be the next planner I choose to get. Filofax to be honest is a bit pricey, but they are nice. I really do like the Domino collection. Midori’s are really nice as well. I could definitely see myself getting one for art journaling.

Pocket, personal, A5 or binder?

I write pretty big, so I don’t see a pocket size planner ever working for me. A binder would be too large to carry around. I have an A5 now, and it’s working well while I am at home, but I do want to see about a personal size planner for on the go. The Webster’s pages Colorcrush planner is on my wish list!

Where do you inspired the most? Youtube, Instagram or Pinterest?

Youtube hands down is where I get the most inspiration. That is how I found out about the planner community. I am on there everyday looking at ‘plan with me’ videos as I plan. I find them to be so relaxing, and the longer the video the better. I can watch planner videos all day, I have done it before! LOL.

What’s your go to pen?

I love the Target dollar spot pens. They write pretty well, and are great for jotting down quick notes. If I am planning out my week, I like using the Papermate inkjoy pens and Papermate flairs.

What are your favorite inserts?wpid-img_20150522_195905.jpg

I haven’t really played around with using different inserts. I am loving the week on 2 pages inserts I got from the Etsy shop SewMuchCrafting.

Stickers, Post its or page flags?

I am definitely a post it kind of girl! I have some scattered everywhere in my house just in case I have to jot something down really quick.

Keep it simple or deck it out?

I am a little of both. It really depends on what kind of week I’m having. I like decorating, but since I write big, space is something I always have to keep in mind.

How many sections do you have in your planner?

I currently have five sections: Calendar, To-Do, Financial, Health & Fitness, and Notes. I have one sub section for pen pal contacts.

Do you use a planner for school?

I currently don’t use a planner for school, but I did apply for some business courses this Fall. If I am accepted, I will be using a planner. Wish me luck!!

Rings, spiral bound or discbound? Why?

I am really loving ring bound planners simply because it is easier to take out and add anything you want.

Do you use a dashboard? How?

I created a dashboard for my previous planner, but not for my Kikki K. I may just transfer it for an added touch.

I hope you guys enjoyed my answers and if you haven’t already done this tag, I tag all of you! I want to know which planner are you currently using? Comment below!

Announcements + Collective Stationery Haul!

Hi everyone!

First off I want to apologize for not posting in over a month. There are some challenges that I’m trying to take care of, and that put me at a stand still with blogging and social media. However, I am motivated to keep moving forward. Thank you to all of my readers and subscribers for your continued support! ❤

Secondly, I wanted to let everyone know that I took the next step in my blogging journey. Heartdreenie.wordpress.com is now Heartdreenie.com! This was one of my goals for 2015, and it feels great to finally cross it off my list.

Ok, now on to the haul. I haven’t gotten that much but I figure I share anyway because these things are still great finds!

I found these cute Avery tab dividers at Staples for $3.49. They come with 5 different designs (4 pictured) and they snap in which is awesome. The only thing is that they have five holes, so if you have a six ring planner like I do, you will have to customize it just a tad. Cut off the left side that has the holes. Then on the right side, use your hole puncher to punch the correct holes. To have them snap in and out, create a slit in each hole.

The one on the left is how they look right out the package, the right on is how I customized it to fit into my personal size (A5) Kikki K planner.

I got some other goodies from Staples as well. The flip-flop post its were $2.00 for a double pack and the page flags were $3.00. I also picked up some washi. Doesn’t the carnival washi just scream happiness?!

I got a Katedori! Although I wanted the Wellesley version that I’ve seen quite a few with, I saw this beauty and fell in love! It is from the Kate Spade Mikas Pond collection and I got it from Ebay for around $40. Right now I am using it as a brain dump notebook, but I eventually want to use it for something else. I’m looking for ideas to hook her up so don’t hesitate to comment below 🙂 The book that is under the katedori is a Mead planner I got from Target for blog planning.

Aren’t these stamps adorable. They are by far my favorite! These forever stamps come in a set of twenty and come with stickers for $9.80 at any U.S post office or on the USPS website.

Lastly, I got this Smashbook kit at Lot Less for such an incredible deal! I got everything you see for only $3.99. I love finding sales like that. If you would like me to post a more in-depth unboxing of this kit, leave a comment below!

Well that’s all for now. I hope everyone has a great Sunday!
