Incoming Pocketpal Letter!

Hello my loves!

Last week I received my second pocketpal letter, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you. If you want to see the first pocket letter I received and sent out click here. I am simply in awe at how everything is put together so well.

This Kenneth Cole tote screams Spring!

I haven’t bought a bag in quite a while. I believe the last bag I purchased was a Steve Madden satchel back in December. I’m in love with this Kenneth Cole tote. It is made of faux leather and feels soft to the touch. The color and simple detailing is the main reason why I had to have it. It is a bright coral color that makes me smile every time I look at it.

Now, I had no intentions what so ever to get a bag, it just kind of happened. I had some time to kill before work on Friday and decided to stop in Lot Less just to browse. I grabbed a few small things and proceeded to the check out line. Then when I looked to my left, I saw this beauty on the shelf along with other Kenneth Cole bags. Originally $99.99, at only $29.99 you can’t go wrong.

It has plenty of space to fit your every day essentials, planner accessories and then some. I’m so happy for my purchase. It will definitely be a Spring/ Summer staple for me this year.

Pocket Letter Pals

Happy Sunday!

There is a lot of buzz going on in the planner/ paper-crafting community about Pocket Letter Pals. I absolutely love the idea that Janette Lane came up with. Pocket Letters are a fun, new and creative way to send snail mail. Instead of just sending a letter, you use 9 pocket trading card protectors to fill with a variety of goodies for your pen pal.

I received my first Pocket Letter in February, and it kind of took me by surprised because we never spoke about doing one, but I’m glad that she made one for me. She created hers using 4 pocket protectors. This is a Valentine’s day theme 🙂

I love all the goodies she included!

The great things about Pocket Letters is that you can collect them, and put them in a binder to view. I finished my own first Pocket Letter. I must say that it did take some time, but I enjoyed every moment of it.

I can’t wait to create more of these in the future. If you want to join in on the fun, I suggest visiting janettelane.blogspot.com and pocketletterpals.com. Also check out the Pocket Letter Pals group on Facebook for inspiration.

Spring Cleaning

Hey everyone!

It’s that time of year again. You know, when you put away all of your Winter clothing and bring out the Spring clothing. When you declutter your house and give it a serious deep clean. I don’t know about you, but thinking about everything that needs to be done can be overwhelming. Since I am more organized these days, I went along and started to write down exactly what needed to be done.wpid-wp-1428618789463.jpeg

This is my end result. As you can see I made each room a category of it’s own. I find that having it this way doesn’t make it so overwhelming, and easier to break up into different days. I think that a cleaning list is really helpful because there are some areas that you can forget about. When writing your list, I also suggest looking around the house and jotting down what  areas needs special attention, such as sweeping behind the bed or wiping down the blinds.

Let’s say you’ve gotten inspired by this post to start a Spring cleaning list of your own but you’re not at home to get a good idea. One word- Pinterest! Yes, there are tons of pins regarding not just Spring cleaning but cleaning in general. There are also some awesome printable check off lists to use as well.

Happy Spring Cleaning!

30 Days of Lists Final Week.

Happy April!

I can’t believe we are already in April, and that is because the weather we’ve been getting here sucks. It’s supposed to be at least 50 degrees. What do we get instead? cold temps and freezing rain! Hopefully this month will bring on the warmer weather. Enough with my small weather rant, on with my lists..

day23

I love when I receive these two magazines in the mail, instant happiness.

day24

I remember always getting fortune cookies with my Chinese take out order as a child, but now it’s very rare to get them. I wonder why? Hmmmmm…

day25

Definitely rules to live by.

day26

day27

day28

Never say never right? I am certain about this one. LOL

day29

I have to admit that some days are harder than others, but I do believe that things happen for a reason if they don’t go as planned.

day30!

It’s still early in the year so I have a lot more learning to do.

I hope you all had a great time reading my lists. This was my first time participating in 30 Days of Lists, and it was definitely a challenge for me. However the feeling of completing it feels very rewarding!
